Island Lake Days 2024: July 5 - 7

We are just a few weeks away from Island Lake Days 2024! Below are details about some of the events for this year. We want to thank all the organizers for volunteering their time to put together a great event! We have provided the organizer names for each event below and we encourage you to register, but as with most events at the lake, we always welcome "walk up" participation! We look forward to a great Island Lake Days weekend again this year!

Friday, July 5

"Friday Night Lights" - 7 pm in The Bay

If you want to participate, we will have a couple of Pontoon Boats outside The Bay with tow boats ready to go!
Boats that want to watch, we ask that you anchor closer to shore around The Bay

Scavenger Hunt

Pick up your Clue List at the Comeau Cabin (107 Spruce Drive)
Starts Friday night (or Saturday morning), finishes at the Community BBQ on Saturday at 5 pm

Saturday, July 6

FUN Fishing Derby

Jamie McIntosh & Alex Weinberger will post information to Facebook about a week in advance
Derby is Saturday from sun up until 10am
Prizes can be picked up at #47 Lakeshore Drive South

Stand-Up Paddle Board Races

Location: #61 & #63 Lakeshore Drive South
“Around the Island” Long Distance Race starts at 10 am
“Sprints” start at about 11 am
No registration, come with your SUPs just before the event starts

Predator/Prey

Register with Jacey Taylor or Chloe Lamarre
Limited spots available

Time: 11:30-1:30

Children’s Activities

Hosted by SVIL Summer Coordinators
Location: Blue Park
Time: Saturday Morning, exact time TBD

Paddle Board Jousting

Location: #24 Beaver Ave (in The Bay)
Time: 3 pm
Bring your own SUP and life jacket

Secret Challenge

Bring your team of 4 - 8 people, all ages welcome
Location: #24 Beaver Ave (in The Bay)
Time: 3 pm
All teams MUST bring a paddle and a life jacket
Details will be shared upon arrival

Community BBQ

Hosted by The Perrott Crew
Location: Behind the Ball Diamond
Time: 5 pm

Sunday, July 7

Ski Extravaganza & Learn the Course!

Location: Ski Course
Time: Sunday at 10 am
Bring your skis and life jackets, all ages welcome!
Fun runs through the ski course, no experience required
